Thugs on Saturday invaded a polling
unit at Oguta-Otuopoti in Bayelsa and snatched election materials from
the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials in the
area.
The thugs threw the materials into the river before soldiers shot into the air to scare them away.
The materials were later retrieved from the river.
