Nigerians want President Muhammadu Buhari to order the Economic Financial Crimes Commission to investigate Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai following allegations he played a role in the ongoing $2.1 billion
Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, is at the centre of the probe but names of many others have been mentioned in connection with the funds that was meant for the purchase of arms to fight Islamist sect, Boko Haram but was squandered by the past administration.
Nigerians have however taken to social media to query the exclusion of Buratai from the ongoing probe. Although not everyone agree with the call for his investigation, here are some tweets calling for it.
Buratai was part of GEJ's govt as Director of Procurement, Defence HQ, yet you say Dasuki stole through procurement.

I
have repeatedly said that I support this anti-corruption war. But we
must investigate everybody remotely involved, including Buratai.
