ISLAMABAD - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has sent degrees of its 1,124 officials to educational boards for verification.
Sources said the whole degree verification process may take one-year time. The degree collection process took almost four months and the authority had to face problems as majority of officials were reluctant to submit their degrees in time. However, the officials submitted their degrees after CDA blocked their salaries.
According to the source, degrees of the officials have been sent to Lahore, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and other boards for verification. The source that degrees of some officials had been sent to Karachi board almost five months ago but no reply has been received yet.
