KARACHI - Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah on Friday visited the PLA (Navy) Ship LIUZHOU here and met with the Chinese Flotilla Commander, Deputy Chief of Staff PLA (Navy) South Sea Fleet, Rear Admiral Yu Manjiang.
A smartly turned out contingent of PLA (Navy) presented him Guard of honour on his arrival onboard Chinese ship, said a statement issued by ISPR here on Friday.
The naval chief held detailed discussion on professional matters with the commander of the Chinese Naval Task Group. The Chinese Naval Task Group comprising PLA Navy Ships QINGHAIHU, LIUZHOU and SANYA are presently on a visit to Pakistan for participation in 3rd Pakistan Navy and PLA (Navy) bilateral Naval exercise being conducted in Pakistani waters.
Earlier in the day, Rear Admiral Yu Manjiang laid wreath on the mausoleum of Father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Later, the PLA (Navy) Flotilla Commander along with the commanding officers of the participating PLA (Navy) ships also called on senior officials of Pakistan Navy including Commander Pakistan Fleet, Commander Coast and Commander Karachi.
