KARACHI - Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General Major General Bilal Akbar and Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan discussed the law and order situation in the province especially in Karachi and review security of educational institutions.
The meeting - held at Governor’s House on Saturday - reviewed the security arrangements at universities and other educational institutions in the province; keeping in view the recent terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, said a statement here.
The two top-ups reiterated the resolve to continue the targeted operation led by the Rangers till last terrorist was eliminated. They also praised the security agencies for their efforts for the restoration of peace and security in the city and other areas of the province.
The governor acknowledged the sacrifices of security personnel for maintaining peace in the province.
