ISLAMABAD - Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday made a telephonic call to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and apprised him regarding the attack on Pakistani Consulate in Jalalabad.
The Afghan president expressed his concern and grief over the attack on Pakistani Consulate and assured Prime Minister Nawaz of more security measures for Pakistan’s diplomats in Afghanistan.
The prime minister thanked the Afghan president for his concerns and also conveyed his condolences on the deaths of Afghan security personnel. He said that terrorism was a common enemy for both the countries and they would fight this menace together to eliminate it once for all.
